On June 24, 2019, a group of engineers who wish to prove that new filtration technology is better, faster and has more possibilities than traditional filtration technology created Filtang. Filtang not only has the capability in developing high-end filtration technology, but also promotes the development of the overall industry by spreading the new intelligent technology. Filtang believes that human's prospect will be more wonderful if industrial filtration technology stays away from the reliance on limited water resource and energy and moves forward to zero emission earlier.
Filtang carried out research and development work on horizontal vacuum filter, rotary table vacuum filter, dynamic filter and cartridge filter in models such as D1, and thus opened a new page of filtration technology in China. After 1980s, founder team of Filtang began research and development of a series of new filtration equipment in Nuclear Industry East China Machinery Plant, Kunshan Chemical Machinery Plant, Shanghai Chemical Machinery Plant, and Shanghai Feilong Filtration Machinery Co., Ltd. Therein, full automatic vertical filter press' performance is extraordinary, filter cake moisture rate is extremely low, and can be continually upgraded through intelligent re-engineering. Through many years' tests and verification, it overturns people's expectations on filter of 21st century. In the new journey, Filtang caters to subdivisions such as fine chemical engineering, new energy battery materials, crude oil and oil sludge treatment and sludge drying, will stress on the development of new filtration equipment such as dynamic ceramic membrane filter, tower filter press and back flushing pressing filter, and carry out research and development on technology for complete sets of equipment, leading upgrading and development of the industry.
Compared to traditional the strategy of less attention paid to research and development but emphasizing on production amongst Chinese enterprises, and foreign giants' strategy of stressing research and development and procurement, Filtang is persistent in the operation strategy led by innovation, and is dedicated to sustainable improvement of production environment and increase in capacity. Filtang's overall unit and the majority of parts are manufactured in the 20000 m2 manufacturing plant in JWK, Hangzhou. By self-made parts, Filtang not only is able to complete delivery in a short period of time, but also is able to lower cost of equipment parts and improve controllability of product quality.
In order to forge the complete filtration system with sustainable development, Filtang designed intelligent filtration solution composited by MEMS sensor system, intelligent concentrator and Cloud full data system, whereby clients, architecture institutes and industrial filtration peers are able to monitor real-time state of operations, regulate capacity and energy consumption, and lower operating costs dramatically.
This is only a beginning. Simultaneous to manufacturing high-end filtration products, Filtang will continually produce products with affordable prices and easy to accept for more clients, in an attempt to realize industrial clean filtration and sustainable production eventually. New mechanical structure, filtration medium and intelligent filtration solution are able to 'undertake the tasks alone', and if they are combined with the applications, they will be more powerful. These are the future that we expect.

In 2008, the first China 6 m2 belt width and the largest 144 m2 vacuum belt dehydrator were developed.
In 2009, develop the washing and filtering technology of vertical filter press for ultra-fine materials.
in 2010, develop waste vertical filter press.
In 2012, 270 type super vertical full-automatic filter press was developed.
In 2013, the filter cloth full walking horizontal filter press, high suspended beam filter press and quick opening filter press were developed.
In 2014, TP tower filter press and copper smelting system complete filtration and purification technology project were developed.
in 2017, develop steel belt vacuum filter and hydraulic belt filter.
In 2019, Filtang Technologies Corporation was established, and intelligent filter system and intelligent tower filter press were developed.
